This contemporary home was in terrific shape, but was so over furnished with dark heavy furnishings that it was hard to appreciate the spectacular views of the San Francisco Bay from every window. By lightening the walls and the carpet and furnishing it with elegant and timeless pieces that mirrored the soft colors of the bay, the million dollar views won the hearts of buyers.

A complete cosmetic refresh of this  1964 single story home brought it back to life.
Wallpaper was removed from every room, walls were retextured, popcorn was removed from the ceiling, new and refinished hardwood floors replaced the original wall to wall carpet, new baseboards were installed, new lighting, and new hardware really elevated this house and made it ready for sale (which I handled.)

This property was in need of updating. Red and gold walls and lots of dark furniture and collectibles were removed. The interior of the house was painted a beautiful white, the window coverings were removed to showcase the big windows and classically elegant furnishings were used to stage the house. Using some of the clients furnishings, but editing and styling and bringing in lots of white, the house had a lot of appeal and sold immediately over asking.

Small cosmetic upgrade done prior to staging. New paint, new carpet in the bedrooms, some landscaping and the property was ready for staging. The house was part bungalow, part 1950 ranch and had a cool LA modern vibe, so a playful mid-century Industrial vibe was rolled out. Buyers loved it.

This home was purchased by my buyers and completely renovated.  New exterior siding, beautiful hardwood floor were added with new baseboards, all new kitchen, new bathrooms, new fireplace surround and mantle, new windows and solid core interior doors.  I consulted on the material finishes and then staged the home for resale.

Plum Street Remodel

My client bought this small, older, very tired and original 3 bedroom, 1 bath home and we proceeded to gut it, enlarge it and do a complete remodel.  The original third bedroom was converted to the new dining room and the original kitchen which was dark and tiny was opened up enlarged and given access to the back yard through a set of French Doors.. The new 3rd bedroom with master bath was added and the front porch was created to add both dimension and curb appeal to the front of the home. The choice for finishes were white and grey, neutral and clean, which was just starting to appear in home design and the buying audience loved it.

McNear Drive

Paint, new lighting and refinishing the floors really elevated this house.  Painting the back deck a nice neutral grey really enhanced the beautiful deck. Classic furnishings and modern art really made this house pop and caused a quick sale.
